Description: This post is meant to explain where I’ve been for the past four months and my plans for the future.
Where I’ve been

I’m alive!!! Yes, I know it’s hard to believe, But I’m back in action baby! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, hasn’t it? But aside from a few shadow updates on my game that you may have noticed if you stuck around, most of my website has stayed the same. Now let’s go one the news and see what’s changed! I’m sure not much has happened ever since I-
Dude, you missed so much
Huh? What do you mean? I was only gone for a little while-
Owen, do you read or watch the news these days?
Well, I’ve seen bits and pieces but I’m sure that everything is just fine-
looks at the news
OK, I’VE MISSED A LOT. Nonetheless, I’ve been keeping you all waiting long enough, so I guess I should probably answer the question I started at the beginning of this post.
Okay but Seriously, Where have I Been?

Over the past few months, I’ve been practicing my coding and programming skills, while also learning more about game development and design. I’ve learned a lot since then and I’m looking forward to using these skills in the future I’ve also been expanding my horizon a bit and after a long process of searching… I got a job! (I know, shocker)

I am now working with MLK-365 by helping them create a blog and also creating and managing said blog. I will also be creating stuff for them to put on Instagram to spread the word of their message. Honestly, I could not work for a better organization. MLK-365 is an organization dedicated to spreading Martin Luther King Jr.’s message across the world by creating a way for people to help their communities and charities in their community. If you want to check them out, here’s their website. As I said before I’ll be working on the blog for their website as well as creating some Instagram posts for them. So make sure to check Instagram for them as well.
I’ve also been working on getting another game up and ready on the site soon. I hope you guys like it since I tried something new by using Unity for this one. I actually showed off a bit of it at the DCTS middle school expo and for the most part, everyone seemed to like it. So just so you don’t come at me with pitchforks and torches let me be clear, there is new content coming. So just hang in there guys, I promise you’ll have fun with this one. I know that most people who played it had a lot of fun with it.
Plans for the Future

OK, I’ve got a lot to go over here, so let’s get started. The first thing I want to talk about is what I plan to do with this website. I am keeping the website up (I know, shocker). I will continue to make changes and updates to the website and continue to make new flash games for it. I’ve already poured so much of my soul into this website and it would be a shame to just get rid of it. I’ve also bit a larger audience than I expected, so my plan is took make as much content as possible for you guys to play with and explore. Like I said before, new content is coming so expect more updates for the site in general
The second thing I want to talk about is rather important to me. (drum roll please) I am officially working on my first Steam game!!!

I can’t reveal too much about the game right now. All I can say right now is that it’ll take a while for the game to come out. I was going to start working on it during the summer and then release it this month. But it turns out you can’t just hop into making a game (gee, who would’ve thought?). The other thing that I can say is that the game will be a top-down sho-I mean pew-pew game (forgot that I was still in a school for a second) with horror and survival elements involved. I want to try and make a good impression for my first game, so I’m trying something simple, but technically complex.
I’ve already got most of the game written down and a little bit of C# down. But that still means that it’ll take a while with me still juggling school, my family, and of course my new job. BUT, I’m not saying that it won’t come. All I’m saying is to keep an eye out for updates. So brace yourselves, my friends, because soon, a storm comes…

Thank You so Much

I want to take a moment to thank you guys for sticking with me for this long in my life. Your support helps me get through a lot sometimes. You guys have been an amazing audience and I will keep focusing on making this website better. I also want to take a moment to thank my teacher, Mr. Choate, who is most likely reading this.
Hi Mr. Choate, thank you so much for helping me through my career so far. I would also like to thank my previous web teacher Mrs. Dearborn for teaching me so much about code and programming in the first place. I would also like to thank my family for all the love and support that they’ve given me over the years. I couldn’t have gotten this far in my life without them.
I hope everyone reading this has an amazing day, and I’ll see you all soon!

P.S. (I forgot to mention, that my posting schedule is going to be changing. It will be spontaneous, but you can expect at least one post per quarter.)
P.S.S. ( I also forgot to thank MLK-365 for letting me help them with their blog, I promise that I’ll do my best!)
