I’m back yall, and I’m here with some much-needed fixes and balance updates for my game! Again, thank you all for helping me and supporting me with my game career so far. Now let’s get into the updates.
Bug fixes
- The ceiling bug was fixed by switching the position function with the velocity
- You can finally die in the game now! (there was a bug in the game where you were essentially immortal until you got hit again for context.
- Animation bugs have also been fixed
So far this game is now bug-free, so you should have a good experience now with the game. I’ll have to fix more bugs as I add more features though so more bugs and fixes are on the way.
Buffs
- Mack’s damage has been increased to 50%
- Kenji’s range has been increased to 230
Many people complained that Mack was very underpowered compared to Kenji. So to counter this, I rewrote the code to where now Mack has a bigger attack. Hopefully, this will help with the balance of the game going forward. Kenji’s Range was also not the best, so I increased it to make sure he’s not left in the dust.
Future
The game right now is in its beta stage, in the future I plan to add more stuff to the game to give it a unique identity. For now, the game is very simple, but soon I hope to give it its own flare. For now, though, I plan on making more games for this site, as well as making games using different coding languages. That’s all from me for now, see ya!
